A massively popular American "bag chuck" game in which players take turns to toss bean bags at an inclined platform with a 15cm hole near the top. Cornhole is massively popular in the USA and regularly played as a "tailgate" game at barbecues before major sporting events.
All Planet Finska premium Cornhole boards are crafted with a beautiful birchwood frame and poplar plywood playing surface which has been finished in a smooth clear varnish. Unlike generic boards, our design is such that the playing surface is neatly recessed into the frame for a neater premium look and enhanced durability. Each Bushman board has a chunky hemp rope handle for easy transport, and a new under-board chuck bag storage.
These sets come with two boards and eight heavy duty canvas Cornhole chuck bags, each colour set in a premium zip-up storage pouch - 4 black and 4 moss. The Cornhole chuck bags comply with American Cornhole Association size and weight.
Dust is good! Please note, our competition grade cornhole chuck bags are filled with calcium carbonate based pellets. Calcium carbonate is a non toxic compound found in rocks such as chalk and limestone. It is used as a component in our pellets during production to ensure that the bags meet the offical competition weight range, but also to mimic the traditional corn-filled bags of days gone by that would leave a fine layer of corn dust on the board during play. This is a deliberate feature of good quality cornhole bags and it is a sought out feature by those in the know because it improves the slipperiness of the board and allows the bags to slide during play. So please don't worry if your bags puff a little. This is normal and the fine layer of powder will improve your cornhole experience. Pellets made entirely from plastic will not have this extra slip feature and are unlikely to be competition weight.
CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Choose between the official Competition 120cm size board, or a smaller family friendly Standard 90cm board. The 120 is the size of official regulation sized boards used in American Cornhole competitions, measuring 1.2m x 0.6m. The back of the board is raised to an official playing height of 30cm via folding birch support. The 90 is three quarters the length of the 120 sized Cornhole boards, measuring at 0.9m x 0.6m, which make them a great option for those looking to save on space and weight. The unique design has fold out legs at the front so that the playing slope and rear board height remains consistent with full-sized competition boards.
You can also choose to add two 600D Oxford fabric board carry bags in black, one for each board, perfect to store your boards, keeping them clean and safe from the elements.
The individual chuck bags are 14 x 14 cm and weigh approximately 460g. Each chuck bag set weighs 2kg.
The 120 board measures 1.2 x 0.6m and weighs 9.5kg.
The 90 board measures 0.9 x 0.6m and weighs 8.2kg.
